Planned Parenthood Releases Annual Report: Reveals 345,672 Abortions Performed

Planned Parenthood released it’s 2019 annual report at the beginning of January 2020, revealing it had yet another record-breaking year. As the abortion giant’s latest annual report shows, it mostly focuses on abortions.

The thirty-two page report shows that Planned Parenthood aborted 345,672 unborn babies, compared to 2018’s annual report which admits that the organization killed 332,757 babies via abortion. This means that Planned Parenthood killed almost 13,000 more babies – an increase of 3.51% – in 2019 than in 2018. 2018’s number of abortions performed was up 11,373, and according to Planned Parenthood’s 2017 annual airport, they performed 321,384 abortions that year.

Lifenews has more:

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood provided less contraception, sterilizations, cancer screenings, adoption referrals and other women’s health services than the previous year.

According to its own figures, Planned Parenthood contraception services decreased two percent from 2,620,867 in 2017 to 2,556,413 in 2018 and they have dropped 33% over the last ten years as more women are given abortion than pregnancy options.

Actual women’s health care services have dropped as well. Over the last 10 years, total services at Planned Parenthood have fallen 10 percent from 10,943,609 in 2008 to 9,82,1548 in 2018. Specifically, pap smears and tests decreased almost seven percent from 274,145 in 2017 to 255,682 in 2018. They have decreased 72 percent in the last 10 years.

The Planned Parenthood abortion company also helps few women with adoption referrals. While it killed 345,672 babies in abortions, it helped only 4,279 women with adoption referrals in 2018 — killing 80 babies for every woman it helped with adoption.

Finally, the number of well-woman exams Planned Parenthood did in 2018 dropped almost 2% from the prior year.

National Review points out that as abortions overall in the United States have declined over the last several decades, Planned Parenthood’s share of of those abortions committed has continued to increase:

Late last year, the Centers for Disease Control released its data for 2016, showing about 623,000 abortions for the year and reporting that the abortion rate had dropped yet again. According to CDC statistics, the U.S. abortion rate has fallen by about 50 percent since 1980. The pro-choice Guttmacher Institute, meanwhile, estimates that there were about 862,000 abortions in the U.S. in 2017, accounting for the fact that not all states report their abortion data to the CDC.

Based on the CDC statistics, then, Planned Parenthood clinics perform more than half of the total reported abortions in the U.S. and, based on Guttmacher’s reporting, well over one-third of the estimated annual abortions each year. Planned Parenthood executives ritually insist that abortion is just 3 percent of group’s “services” — a carefully manufactured statistic that has been deemed inaccurate and misleading by left-leaning outlets such as Slate and the Washington Post — even as the group performs somewhere between one-third and half the total abortions in the U.S. every year.

Contrast Planned Parenthood’s 345,672 abortions in 2018 with the other actual services the group’s facilities offered. According to the report, the group offered 9,798 prenatal-care services and made 4,279 adoption referrals, which means that its facilities performed 35 abortions for every instance of prenatal care and 81 abortions for every adoption referral.

Patrina Mosley, Family Research Center’s Director of Life, Culture, and Women’s Advocacy, responded in a statement:

“It is a sad day in our country when an organization can publicly announce their earnings from taking innocent human life. As Planned Parenthood’s profit increased, so did their abortions. They aborted 1,768 babies for every single day in fiscal year 2018. It’s inexplicable that a company as scandal-ridden as Planned Parenthood obtains nearly forty percent of their total revenue from the American taxpayer.

By their own admission, Planned Parenthood Federation of America aborted 1,768 babies per day in their last fiscal year, more than any other abortion provider in the United States, and Planned Parenthood’s highest number since fiscal year 2011.

Planned Parenthood’s numbers illustrate that all they care about is money, at the expense of human life. They are now responsible for the deaths of more than 8 million human lives.
